Peking University and Harvard will develop the world's first 14T magnetic resonance system

December 19th, "Bruce Rosen guest professor appointment ceremony and the world's first 14T very high field human MRI system development memorandum of signing ceremony" held at Peking University.Peking University Research Department and Bruce Rosen on behalf of both parties signed a memorandum of cooperation to jointly develop the world's first 14T very high field human body magnetic resonance system.

The memorandum states that both parties will conduct further cooperation in the field of biomedical imaging in the future. To create a world-class medical imaging research and development and personnel training base as the goal.Joint research to provide the most advanced and the most extreme research platform for brain science and neuroscience. It is understood that after the successful development of 14T magnetic resonance system,Will become the world's first most sensitive and highest resolution magnetic resonance imaging system, provides state of the art ultimate research tools for brain science and neuroscience.

Bruce Rosen was one of the authors of the first fMRI paper in the world and was involved in the drafting of a U.S. brain science program. He led the Athinoula A. Martinos biomedical imaging center (Martinos Center for short) is one of the world's top Life Science, Translational Medicine Research Center. There are currently 45 laboratories in the Martinos center, with 200 project researchers including visiting scholars, postdocs and graduate students.

It is reported that both sides will set up a world-class medical imaging personnel training mechanism and base as the goal,Based on the multidisciplinary strengths of Peking University, formed cross-cutting, cross-integration theory, application support center,to provide strong support for Multi-modal cross-scale biomedical imaging facilities .
